A set of 30 One Minute Whizzers, aimed at Year 2 children.
 
How many can you complete in just one minute? Children attempt to answer all 12 within a minute. They can use counters to cover the ones that they have done before recording their score out of 12. Year 6 children may benefit from having some paper to jot some workings down.
 
Each One Minute Whizzer contains the following 12:
 
* Name the shape. 
* Name the fraction - 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 2/3, 3/4.
* Add up the coins.
* Calculate how many in the array - linked to x 2 and x 5.
* Complete the part-whole model.
* Find the total number of spots on the dice.
* Answer the multiplication question - linked to x 2, x 5 or x 10.
* Read the time on the analogue clock - o'clock, half past, quarter past or quarter to.
* What number is represented by the Dienes?
* Is the number odd or even?
* True or false with greater than or less than symbol.
* Number bond to 10/20 with addition and subtraction.
