A set of 30 One Minute Whizzers, aimed at Year 6 children.
 
How many can you complete in just one minute? Children attempt to answer all 12 within a minute. They can use counters to cover the ones that they have done before recording their score out of 12. Year 6 children may benefit from having some paper to jot some workings down.
 
Each One Minute Whizzer contains 12 from the following:
 
* Name the shape - including regular or irregular.
* Add or subtract the fractions - with and without the same denominators.
* Simplify the fraction.
* Multiplying and dividing fractions.
* Find the perimeter or area of a shape - including triangles and parallelograms.
* Find the volume of cubes and cuboids.
* Answer the multiplication question.
* Find square/cube numbers.
* Round the number - including to 2 decimal places.
* Find the value of a given digit - up to millions.
* Answer ratio problem.
* Addition and subtraction with negative numbers.
* Finding percentages of a number.
